This online exhibit provides insights into the Shell Historical Archive from a perspective of the sportive and technical partnership with the Scuderia Ferrari. This exhibition site is organised in three main sections: the browse exhibit, the browse collection and the browse items.

In the first section, the browse exhibit, is illustrated the historical context that led to the beginning and the renewed cooperation between the Shell Company and the Scuderia Ferrari from 1929 to nowadays. The browse collection gathers the digitalized items that highlight the main milestones in terms of Ferrari and Shell cooperation. Finally, the browse items section describes the collected metadata through the Dublin Core classification including both data previously collected by the University of Melbourne Archive and Shell Historical Archive, and the description of digitalized photographs that I have provided. 

In conclusion, the exhibit site aims to investigate the  social-political connections among a selected group of images from the Shell Historical Archive with regard to a popular thematic such as Formula 1 and sport racing events.
